Vande Bharat Sleeper Trains: Modern, Eco-Friendly Travel Coming Soon in India

Indian Railways is set to introduce the Vande Bharat sleeper trains by early 2024, providing faster overnight journeys. These trains feature broader berths, well-lit interiors, spacious restrooms, and enhanced safety measures, promoting energy efficiency. Each train accommodates up to 887 passengers in 16 well-designed bogies, with a maximum speed of 160 km/h. The joint effort of Indian Railways, RVNL, TMH Group, Titagarh Wagons, and BHEL aims to offer a modern and eco-friendly alternative to Rajdhani trains.
