Mahadev Betting App Case: ED Summons Huma Qureshi, Hina Khan, Kapil Sharma and more bollywood stars

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has summoned actors Huma Qureshi and Hina Khan, Shraddha kapoor along with comedian Kapil Sharma, in connection with an online betting app case. Earlier Ranbir Kapoor was summoned by ED. They are alleged to have promoted the app and attended a success party for it in Dubai last September. Ranbir Kapoor, previously summoned by the ED, has requested a two-week extension. The agency is investigating money laundering and illegal betting operations linked to the Mahadev Book app, which was operated from Dubai. The app allegedly used benami bank accounts for money laundering and had connections in the UAE.

Woman sexually assaulted inside autorickshaw; driver held in TVM

Thiruvananthapuram: Police have arrested an autorickshaw driver for sexually assaulting a woman passenger inside his vehicle. The accused is Muttathara native Muhammad Jijas.  The incident took place on Friday around 11.00 p.m. The 35-year-old woman from Muttathara had hired Jijas' autorickshaw to reach her home from Attakulangara. As per her complaint, the accused had stopped the vehicle in an abandoned area and molested her.  “The autorickshaw driver is a habitual offender and over 9 cases including POCSO are registered against him,” said the police.
