Delhi HC Orders Removal of Misleading YouTube Videos About Pulse Candy Causes Cancer


Delhi High Court has ordered the removal of YouTube videos falsely claiming that Pulse candy causes cancer, filed by Dharampal Satyapal Foods Limited. Google must disclose the identities of video uploaders. The court stressed that claims should rely on credible test reports, preventing baseless fear. It also noted that such content may serve public awareness or competitive interests. Videos with misleading content were ordered to be taken down, but factual ones based on verifiable test reports are allowed.
