BJP accuses Nitish Kumar of skipping Vande Bharat Express inauguration despite invitation

Union Minister of State (MoS) and BJP leader Ashwini Choubey on Sunday, alleged that Bihar CM Nitish Kumar did not show up for the flagging off of the Patna-Howrah Vande Bharat Express. As many as nine trains were flagged off by PM Narendra Modi via video-conferencing and ministers were invited at stations for the event.

Lashing out at Bihar ministers, Choubey said that they are annoyed by the nation's and the state's development. "Several ministers of the state (Bihar) did not come despite the invitation by the Railways. They are annoyed by the country and state's development. The Chief Minister did not come despite the invitation. This is a matter of shame for Bihar," the Union Minister said.
